The Forum for Contemporary Art had come of age and needed an identity to match. KLI served on the advisory board to develop their new name: Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis. We were then given the tremendous opportunity and freedom to shape the Museum’s entire graphic identity. When the new name was determined our inspiration and primary visual reference was their new building designed by Portland based architects Allied Works. The building was in the beginning phase of construction so the identity was emerging as the building was taking shape.
