A Year of Corn
The Hennegan Company, a leading North American printer, and Gregory
Thorp, a Connecticut-based fine art photographer, asked KLI to design
a book showcasing Gregory's work. The book’s subject: corn. Gregory's
images are striking and his catalog extensive. In close collaboration with
Gregory and Hennegan, we selected images, image sequences, format,
paper and print techniques that would best communicate his passion and
his incredible craft. The intimate four inch by eight inch horizontal format,
that opens up to four inches by 16 inches, provides a compelling and
logical composition for a most intriguing and surprising subject.
