A no-nonsense solution designed to deliver relevant facts in six distinct sections: national media state-of-the-industry news that had appeared throughout 2001; Arch’s strategy for capitalizing on the favorable market; a President’s letter utilizing concise language and large, friendly type; an at-a-glance financial summary in an easy-reference format; the financial overview; and an unexpected close featuring the only photographs in the book (sans the President’s portrait) accompanied by text highlighting the Company’s commitment to the environment. The overall feel of this book is journal-like with a splash of color at the end. The interior pages are printed on recycled, uncoated paper and the cover is coated paper embossed. The book appropriately delivered the Company’s positive messages amidst uncertain times.
